In a dynamic gathering that sparkled with potential, the National Office of Major Projects of Burkina Faso (BN-GPB) convened in Bobo-Dioulasso on Wednesday. Journalists, communicators, influencers, and activists came together to discuss six exciting Presidential Initiatives set forth by President Ibrahim Traoré. These initiatives are not just policies but are pivotal strategies designed to ignite economic and social development in the country.
According to Africazine, the primary goal of this informative meeting was to give Burkinabe citizens a lucid understanding of these initiatives. Jacinthe Anaïs Myriam Tapsoba, the director of planning and monitoring and evaluation at BN-GPB, articulated President Traoré’s vision: “Our aim is to stimulate development that champions national sovereignty, especially regarding food security.”
Analysis provided by speakers Dominique Konombo and Pascal Ouédraogo underscored how these reforms are structured and their far-reaching objectives. The Minister of Communication and government spokesperson, Pingdwendé Gilbert Ouédraogo, also joined the conversation, encouraging the media community to champion these reforms and play a supportive role in facilitating effective government communications.
