Five talented students from Naudeville Primary School recently showcased their impressive equestrian skills at the Free State South African National Equestrian Schools Association (SANESA) fifth qualifying round, which took place on June 7 at the picturesque Goldfields Equestrian Centre in Welkom. This exciting event not only highlighted the exceptional talent of these young riders but also underscored the vibrant spirit of equestrian sports in South Africa.
Among the standout performers was Mia Best, who claimed two second places in showjumping, alongside a first prize for working riding and another second in equitation. Her remarkable achievements reflect her hard work and dedication to the sport, inspiring her peers and junior riders alike.
Fellow rider Hanno van Jaarsveld displayed competitive prowess by winning first place in the intermediate equitation and the Prix Caprilli B division, along with a second in Prix Caprilli A. His strong performance at the event has secured his reputation as a rising star in the equestrian community.
