This prestigious event brought together aspiring dancers from various backgrounds, providing them with a platform to strut their stuff and compete for top honors.
Among the standout performers was Mia Grobler, who dazzled the judges and audiences alike to clinch the title of junior disco winner. Not to be outdone, Hailey van den Berg claimed the award for senior disco winner, reflecting the school’s commitment to fostering excellence in dance. In the senior modern dance category, Donna Scott earned top accolades, demonstrating her skill and hard work.
The competition’s diversity was evident with varied dance styles, as Mia Peens took home the junior freestyle title and Ilze-Mari Homan excelled in the senior freestyle category. Special recognition was awarded to several students for their unique performances: Mia Peens received the Entertainment award, Mia Grobler was honored with the “You’re Just Amazing” accolade, and Zuandri Joubert was recognized as the Sassy Queen, adding an extra layer of pride to the event.
