As summer clings on a little longer, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has made an announcement that’s sure to be felt from Cairo to Aswan. Hot and humid weather is expected to prevail today, Tuesday, across the nation, making for a sweltering day. Notably, winds will be kicking up occasionally, especially in South Sinai, stirring up some sand and dust which may create a hazy atmosphere for residents and travelers alike.

As we head out on the roads, visibility may be affected, particularly in agricultural areas and on highways due to morning mist. It’s advisable for drivers to maintain caution as they navigate these potentially tricky conditions.

For those planning to hit the beach, the Mediterranean Sea will present perfect conditions for swimming with low to moderate waves fluctuating between 1 to 1.5 meters, driven by gentle northwest winds. Over on the Red Sea, expect slightly more vigorous waves ranging from 1.5 to 2.25 meters, which could be an adventure for those braving the water!

As the sun sets, the nighttime forecast suggests that temperatures will continue to hover close to moderately hot levels, ensuring that evenings remain warm and inviting. For specific temperature predictions, Cairo will see around 33°C, Alexandria will have 32°C, Marsa Matruh is set for 30°C, while Sohag, Qena, and Aswan, where the heat intensifies, can expect temperatures of 38°C, 41°C, and a sizzling 42°C, respectively.

It’s a day rich with outdoor potential, underlining Egypt’s unique blend of due diligence to weather changes and the alluring climate that naturally encourages both tourists and locals to embrace the life and warmth of this vibrant country. So, whether you’re planning a trip to the pristine beaches or taking part in city’s bustling life, remember to stay hydrated and protect yourself from the sun’s rays!
