Algerian President, Sierra Leonean Counterpart Discuss Ways to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune held talks on Wednesday with his Sierra Leonean counterpart, Julius Maada Bio, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and international issues of common interest.

The talks took place at the Algerian Presidency in the capital, where Tebboune received Bio, who is on a three-day official visit to Algeria. Bio arrived in Algeria on Tuesday.

It is worth noting that Algeria and Sierra Leone began their non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council on January 1, 2024, alongside South Korea, Guyana, and Slovenia.
