To finish top in Group A, Jose Peseiro’s men must beat Guinea-Bissau on Monday and hope Equatorial Guinea and Côte d’Ivoire end in a draw or the former does not win by a wide margin.

Speaking ahead of Monday’s crucial tie with Guinea-Bissau Chukwueze, in an exclusive chat with Brila FM said:No small country in this Cup of Nations so our fans should expect the fighting spirit from the team.

However, the return leg saw the Eagles emerge 1-0 winners.
