The Black Stars have magnificently arrived in Côte d’Ivoire, adorned in stunning Kente cloth, which has captured a significant amount of attention.
Undoubtedly, if this were a fashion tournament, they would have emerged victorious hands down.
The Black Stars will face tough competition from Cape Verde, Egypt, and Mozambique in Group B. Their first match will be against Cape Verde on January 14, 2023, at the Felix Houphet Boigny Stadium.
After their recent goalless draw with Namibia at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the Ghanaian contingent wasted no time and left the country.
Before their departure, a special dinner event was organized in their honour in Accra, hosted by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
This event, held on January 9, 2023, at the Jubilee House, served as a farewell to the team as they embarked on their journey to Ivory Coast for the tournament.
The Black Stars of Ghana are determined to make their nation proud and leave a lasting impression at the 2023 African Cup of Nations.
