World’s First Louvre-Branded Residences Comes To Abu Dhabi

29.04.22

Fans of luxury car and fashion brands are well catered for in the burgeoning branded residences space; whether you’re partial to a Porsche or mad for Missoni, real estate collaborations are springing up from Miami to Nine Elms – and HNW art lovers are the next target market.

The world’s first Louvre-branded residences have just been announced, promising to bring a “culturally-inspired way of living” to Abu Dhabi, reports Abode2.

Major-league developer/investor/manager Aldar has teamed up with Louvre Abu Dhabi on the venture, which will form part of its vast AED10bn Saadiyat Grove scheme.

When complete in 2025, the 400 luxury apartments will be the most sought-after address in the UAE capital, says the firm.

Prospective buyers are promised uninterrupted views of Louvre Abu Dhabi and the city skyline from the elevated swimming pools, sunset deck and gardens; amenities will also include a lounge, private cinema, indoor kids’ playroom and wellness centre.

The lobbies and shared spaces will house art and sculptures selected in “close consultation” with the world famous cultural institution, which opened in 2007 and has been described as “France’s largest cultural project abroad”.

This will also be the first Aldar development to launch with a primary focus on international sales – buyers are to be targeted in markets including the UK, Egypt, and India. The unit mix will include studios to three-beds, along with five top-end penthouses; there’s no word yet on pricing.

The wider mixed-use project will span an area of 242,000 square metres on Saadiyat Island, with “immersive” retail, entertainment and leisure spaces serving 3,000 resi units, two hotels and co-working spaces.

Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences at Saadiyat Grove is a response to the demand for a premium residence that echoes the values, quality, and timelessness of the cultural powerhouse that is Abu Dhabi. Neighbouring Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and Zayed National Museum, Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences represents the pinnacle of art, culture, and design, tailored and delivered for the ever-discerning homeowner.
