Veteran Singer Asha Bhosle’s son admitted in an ICU in Dubai

Legendary singer Asha Bhosle’s son, Anand Bhosle has reportedly been admitted to a hospital in Dubai. He apparently had a fall in Dubai due to dizziness.

Apparently, when Anand Bhosle fell to the ground, he suffered a few injuries and was immediately rushed to the hospital. He was initially admitted to the ICU but he has since been shifted into a regular room.

Asha Bhosle is said to have been in Dubai when the incident occurred.

The incident has naturally shaken up the Bhosle and the Mangeshkar families. For the unversed, Asha Bhosle is veteran singer, the late Lata Mangeshkar’s younger sister.

Though Asha Bhosle was only in Dubai for a short visit, she has reportedly decided to stay back in Dubai to stay close to her son. Meanwhile family members back in India have been frantically reaching out to family in Dubai to get regular updates about the progress of Anand Bhosle’s health.

The 88-year-old legendary singer of Indian cinema is mother to three children – Hemant Bhosle, Anand Bhosle and Varsha Bhosle.

Anand Bhosle though, is her only surviving off spring. Her son Hemant Bhosle passed away due to cancer, while her daughter Varsha passed away due to suicide.

Asha Bhosle was married to Ganpatrao Bhosle from 1949 to 1960. She separated from him and later got married to legendary composer R.D. Burman with whom she was in relationship from 1980 until his demise in 1994. Asha Bhosle was 6 years older to R.D. Burman.

She holds the Guinness Book of World Records for the most recorded artist in music history.
