In Silicon Valley in the south of the American metropolis of San Francisco, a meeting took place on Friday evening with members of the Moroccan community established in the United States, at the initiative of the Ministry of Investment, convergence and evaluation of public policies and the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE).

Speaking on this occasion, Minister Delegate Mohcine Jazouli reviewed the projects launched in Morocco, particularly in terms of development, infrastructure and investments. The meeting brought together more than 150 Moroccan skills active within large digital groups (GAFAM) and information technologies, as well as in the biotechnology and entrepreneurship sectors, in addition to scientific and academic research. .

Returning to the international roadshow to promote the Moroccan destination and which made a stopover in Dallas, Austin, San Francisco and which must continue in Seattle, the Minister Delegate indicated, in a statement to MAP, that the objective of this initiative is to make known the important assets that Morocco has and therefore attract new American investments.

Referring to Morocco’s participation in the 16th USA-Africa business summit which was held from May 6 to 9 in Dallas, the delegate minister indicated that this conclave was an opportunity to examine the prospects for partnerships and cooperation which are sustainable and beneficial for Africa.

For his part, the director general of AMDIE, Ali Seddiki, stressed that the meeting with members of the Moroccan community in the United States takes place in application of royal instructions which insist on supporting projects and skills initiatives. Moroccans around the world.

The objective is to present the business opportunities that Morocco offers, particularly in terms of investment, as well as the incentives provided by the new investment charter, he indicated, adding that AMDIE is mobilized to support the investment projects of Moroccans around the world.
