‘TV Presenter of the Year’, Akrobeto Nominated For My Africa Influence Awards

Ghanaian movie legend and one of the most admirable personalities on Television, Akrobeto, known in real life as Akwasi Boadi, has earned international recognition for his comic delivery of the ‘Real News’ on United Television.

Akrobeto has over the years brought joy to the homes of Ghanaians; his infectious style of presenting UTV’s Real News always throws both those who understand his local language, which is his mode of communication on the show, and those who don’t into hysterics.

In view of his hard work and dedication to making people happy, Akrobeto has been nominated for the TV Presenter of the Year at the upcoming My Africa Influence Awards.

This awards event is scheduled to take place in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, on December 17, 2023.

Akrobeto is the only Ghanaian nominee in this competitive category, representing his country on the continental stage and competing with American-based South African-born TV star, Trevor Noah.

He will be competing with fourteen (14) renowned presenters from across the continent, among them are Bassem Youssef from Egypt, Cheick Yvhane from Ivory Coast, Ebuka Uchuendu from Nigeria, and Dingindaba Buyoya from Zambia including Trevor Noah.

The Ghanaian comic actor is poised to emerge victor, bringing home the prestigious award.
