Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and an accompanying delegation on Saturday arrived in Abu Dhabi to attend the funeral of the late President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
Prime Minister Barzani and the accompanying delegation were welcomed by Emirati President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
Prime Minister Barzani offered his condolences to the Emirati President for the passing of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan, and conveyed his wishes that his soul may rest in heaven. Prime Minister Barzani also congratulated Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan on assuming the presidency.
