Dubai may already boast the world’s tallest building, but now it’s also home to the world’s highest infinity pool!
Located on the 77th floor of the Address Beach Resort in the UAE city, the pool is located just over 694ft above the skyline – 694ft 2in, to be exact.
Unsurprisingly, swimmers will get treated to some pretty epic views of Dubai’s skyline.
We’re talking views the likes of those golden sandy beaches (including the beach at Jumeirah), the Dubai Marina and coastline, the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel and plenty more sun-soaked panoramics.
The new pool was actually built back in February 2020, but has only just claimed the Guinness World Record for the ‘ highest outdoor infinity pool in a building ‘. Niche, we know, but an accolade all the same.
There’s plenty more that has us wanting to add the pool to our travel wishlists too, thanks to the sun-soaked rooftop location, the sunbeds in the water for lounging, and the cabanas for those who prefer to enjoy the scenery while staying in the shade. (you can find out more on addresshotels.com ).
Basically, it’s very much a strong contender for Dubai’s best hotel pools if you’re after luxury cabanas and breathtaking views of the landscape.
Of course Dubai holidays aren’t on the cards for Brits right now. For a start, there’s a ban on non-essential travel abroad, such as for holidays.
Alongside this, the UAE is currently on England’s red list which includes a ban on direct flights from Dubai to the UK, as well as requiring anyone returning to the UK to stay in a quarantine hotel for at least 10 days.
