Work On Dewa’s 250MW Hydroelectric Power Plant In UAE Is 44% Completed

News: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) has completed 44% of work on its 250MW pumped-storage hydroelectric power station in Hatta, UAE. The facility will also feature 1.5GWh of storage capacity. As part of the project, Dewa will develop a 5.4km-long cable car route and also Dubai Mountain Peak, according to a press release from Dewa.
