(ANSA) – TURIN, 30 JUN – ‘Connected with nature’ is the claim of the next edition of the International Alba White Truffle Fair, which will take place from 9 October to 5 December 2021, with participations abroad, starting from Dubai Expo.
The fil rouge of the exhibition combines food and wine with environmental, social and economic sustainability.
“We believe the time has come – explains Liliana Allena, president of the EnteFiera – to give the event a new course characterized by a cultural change that takes into account the challenges that our company can no longer escape from: a new paradigm in environmental protection, measuring itself with change climate and sustainability, focusing more and more on team play “.
The heart of the Fair will remain the World White Truffle Market of Alba, together with the Albaqualità review, inside the Cortile della Maddalena. It will be the place where you can buy specimens of Tuber magnatum Pico, carefully selected by the Truffle Sensory Analysis judges, trained by the National Center for Truffle Studies.
The Alba Truffle Show will feature major names in national and international cuisine, will host Truffle Sensory Analysis seminars and Wine Tasting Experiences.
Among the novelties of the 2021 International Fair, the Barolo enprimeur auction, promoted at the end of October by the CRC Foundation.
Confirmed, after its debut in the last edition, the Truffle Hub, a branch of the Fair at the Castello di Roddi, transformed into a “territorial digital hub that will act as a showcase for Piedmontese food and wine excellences”.
November 14th is the date of the World Truffle Auction: in connection with the Castle of Grinzane Cavour, Hong Kong, Moscow, Singapore and Dubai will compete for the most prestigious lots of Alba White Truffles. (HANDLE).
