We’re going global! The ‘Real Housewives of Dubai’: Everything You Need to Know

‘The Real Housewives of Dubai’ is set to premiere on Bravo in 2022, and here’s what we know so far.

We’re going global! The Real Housewives of Dubai will premiere on Bravo on November 1st, according to the network.

According to a press release, the new Housewives series will focus on “a group of ladies navigating their relationships, jobs, and incredibly extravagant and ultra-wealthy lifestyles in the United Arab Emirates.”

The “desert paradise” of Dubai will serve as the backdrop for the new cast’s luxurious lifestyles, according to the network. According to the press release, “this billionaire’s playground is recognized for its over-the-top splendor, jaw-dropping modern architecture, and raucous nightlife scene.”

“Everything is bigger in Dubai, and I couldn’t be more excited to start Bravo’s first international Housewives series in a city I’ve been captivated by for years, with an exceptional set of friends as our guides,” producer Andy Cohen said in a statement about the new show.

The network, which now has ten Housewives series, also aired the first teaser for Dubai on the same day, hinting at much more extravagance and wealth than any of its previous chapters in the United States.

Bravo captioned the clip on social media, “Pack your bags for Bravo’s first original foreign Housewives franchise, The Real Housewives of Dubai!”

“This is no mirage,” says a title card in the teaser. As footage of a lady running through the desert flashes on the television, it says, “This is real.”

“It’s the country of opportunity,” says the narrator. As the lady frolics in the beach, the voiceover exclaims, “It’s the new American dream.”

The show’s roster has yet to be confirmed, however Juliet Angus, who played Caroline Stanbury on Ladies of London, hinted that she could be a major component.

Angus, who played on the London-based series from 2014 to 2017, remarked on Bravo’s Instagram announcement on November 1: “YESSSS @carolinestanbury.”

“Go @carolinestanbury so thrilled for [you]my buddy. #breakaleg,” Patti Stanger of Millionaire Matchmaker wrote on Instagram, fueling casting rumors.

Jen Shah of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City didn’t address Stanbury’s supposed role in the new program, but she did tweet, “Yasss!!!” in response to the huge news.
