UAQ Free Trade Zone participates in INDEX Dubai, 2021’s FIRST live interiors show

  • World-renowned, large-scale trade (B2B) exhibition, now renamed as Workspace, back live this year.
  • Free Zone to promote land, offices, warehouses, business packages, and services portfolio to service vendors and manufacturers in the furniture and interiors industry.

As live events slowly make a comeback, UAQ Free Trade Zone is participating in the first live interiors show Index – now renamed as Workspace – which is taking place from May 31st to 2nd June at Dubai World Trade Centre to support the UAE industry and connect with businesses worldwide.

“As UAE emerges from the pandemic, live trade events like Index Dubai provide a much-needed boost to the industry and an opportunity for more interaction, engagement, and networking. We are excited to collaborate with small brands and large industries that are new to the UAE landscape, to help them scale up their operations internationally with our portfolio,” said Johnson George, General Manager, UAQ Free Trade Zone.

The Free Zone, a thriving ecosystem for SMEs, shall also showcase its latest portfolio that includes express start-up packages “Entrepreneur in a Day”, 20 million sq. ft of premium industrial land, offices, and warehouses. The Entrepreneur in a Day package and cost-efficient, ready-to-move warehouses will provide great opportunities for micro and small businesses in the industry such as furniture manufactures, designers, retailers, distributors, consultants, and contractors.

The world-renowned, large-scale trade (B2B) exhibition – highlighted by three days of focused, high-impact business networking, product showcases, insights, and experiences – has been connecting interior designers, buyers, retailers, distributors, consultants, and contractors to interiors brands, products, and services from across the globe for over 30 years.

INDEX is co-located with other shows like The Hotel Show and The Leisure Show – as part of Middle East Design and Hospitality Week – that are popular with Architects, Consultants, and Interior Designers, making it the MENA region’s largest gathering for the design industry.

The event also showcases an array of design-related activities and installations, including the INDEX Design Talks and Work Design Summit – a series of vibrant, interactive discussions amongst leading business and creative professionals – chaired by the reputed design strategist, Esra Lemmens.
