Rain has been predicted to fall in the UAE over the course of the next three days.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasted there would be light rainfall in parts of the country from Friday until Sunday.
The weather would be āpartly cloudy to cloudy and dusty at times with a probability of light rainfall especially over the coasts and the islands, with a significant fall in temperaturesā on Friday, according to the NCM.
On Saturday there was a āprobability of some light rainfall over some coastal and eastern partsā.
The NCM also predicted Sunday would see light rainfall over some western and northern areas.
Humidity was also expected to rise on Friday night and Saturday morning causing fog over eastern areas.
Winds were expected to be active and dusty causing light waves in the Sea of Oman and turbulence in the Arabian Gulf.
The prediction of rain came as it was reported skies were much drier than usual, with less rainfall than in previous years.
This had even prompted President Shiekh Khalifa to call for prayers for rain in December.
