Watch aficionados, it’s time to pen a visit to TimeVallée’s new pop-up at Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi into your schedule. Situated in the Luxury Fashion Area, the pop-up from the world-renowned innovative concept store will take you on a noteworthy journey while discovering novelties from Baume & Mercier, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai and Piaget. And with the immersive experience open until June, there really aren’t any excuses not to head there and delve deep into the wide world of the extraordinary luxury watch maisons.
In partnership with Trafalgar, TimeVallée has created the elevated, beautiful environment to explore the rich heritage of their watches. Baume & Mercier, founded in 1830 by William Baume & Paul Mercierin the heart of Swiss Jura mountains, is introducing the new “Riviera” collection. Jaeger-LeCoultre, another Swiss company born in the Jura Mountains, is presenting the “Reverso,” “Master”, “Rendez-Vous,” “Polaris” and “Duomètre” collections. These picks from the brand, located in the serene setting of the Vallée de Joux, have been at the forefront of watchmaking, technically and artistically.
And as well as displaying pieces from its iconic collections, Piaget will be revealing an array of new “Piaget Polo Date” models. The house, one more that was founded in the Jura mountains, is known for masterful craftsmanship and audacious creations. In addition to its manufacture at in the small village of La Côte-aux-Fées, where Georges-Édouard Piaget started his dream, the house has one at Plan-les-Ouates.
Meanwhile, IWC is presenting its latest “Pilot’s” watches, including the centrepiece, the “Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar.” The maison known for its precise and robust watches with outstanding technology, also have the “Portofino” and “Portugeiser” collections on display. Panerai, which was founded in Florence in 1860 as a workshop, shop and school of watchmaking, and was a supplier to the Italian Navy, specifically its specialist diving corps, is showcasing its iconic “Luminor” line. The house, which now develops at its Neuchâtel manufacture, is also exhibiting the hardy “Submersible” collection and its thinnest and most versatile creation, the “Piccolo.”
The TimeVallée concept was developed in 2014 to give guests access to to its impressive high-end watch maisons in “one inspirational space,” according to Michael Guenoun, CEO of TimeVallée and International Distribution Director for Richemont Watch Division. The multi-brand model that offers guests a personalised service has made waves due to its sophisticated design as it melds attention to detail with innovative interactive digital elements and spacious product display.
