The UAE amends the fees for residence and tourism visas

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, issued Cabinet Resolution No. 57 of 2021 amending some provisions regarding the organization and development of the services of the Nationality, Residency Affairs and Ports Sector at the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, published in No. 15 June of the Federal Official Gazette.

The first article of the decision stipulates adding a number of services and fees to Table No. (1) attached to the previous Cabinet Resolution No. 22 of 2014.

The schedule specified entry permit fees إذن Establish virtual work 250 dirhams as the value of fees for the application and issuance for a stay of 60 days, the value of the permit or renewal of the virtual work residence permit for a year, at 200 dirhams for the request, issuance and renewal, and the value of the application and issuance fees for entry permits for a residence permit for family members of a holder of a virtual work residence permit (for each individual) 250 dirhams for the period of stay 60 days.

The table also specified fees for a permit or renewal of residence for a family member holding a virtual work residence permit (for each individual) 200 dirhams, application and issuance or renewal fees.

The decision also specified the fees for a multi-entry tourist visa for all nationalities for a period of 5 years (the fee is paid once for the entire period) at a value of 600 dirhams, 100 dirhams for application and 500 dirhams for issuance, so that the period of stay in the country does not exceed 90 days in total per year, and the duration of stay is extended For more than 90 days per year for holders of a multiple-entry tourist visa, the fee is 350 dirhams as the value of the application and issuance fees, so that another 90 days are added for each extension in the year

The Cabinet decision also set the entry permit fee for the family of a university student (per individual) at 150 dirhams for a stay of 60 days, and the fee for the residence permit for the family of a university student (for each individual) at 150 dirhams to stay for a year, and the fee will be at the same value 150 dirhams in the event of renewal The permit is for another year, according to the Emirati newspaper, Al Bayan.

The second article of Cabinet Resolution No. 57 of 2021 canceled every provision that contradicts or contradicts the provisions of this decision, while the third and final article stipulated that the decision be published in the Official Gazette and that it be implemented on the next day from the date of its publication.
