The Rib Room at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is inviting guests to sink their teeth into its brand-new menu, a feast of classic British favourites which have been given a contemporary spin.
The modern ‘eatery’s’ reimagined menu offers a collection of dishes that spotlight the finest cuts of meat and sustainably sourced ingredients. At the helm of The Rib Room is Chef Daniel Hillier, a culinary connoisseur with over 25 years of experience working at prominent Michelin Starred restaurants in London, who brings together traditional dishes with forward-thinking techniques.
The menu features starters such as the Spicy Veal Tartar and Wood Pigeon Kebab with Cauliflower Hummus that pays homage to a Middle Eastern favourite, with main courses including Fish Pie Royal, Angus Beef Rump, Pearl Barley & Pumpkin Risotto, Chicken Liver Parfait, Dover Sole, 21 days dry-aged grass-fed Angus & Johnstone beef amongst many more delicacies.
Younger guests can dig their forks into Crispy Quinoa Dumplings with Curry Sauce, Chicken & Leek Pie, the Cavatappi Mac & Cheese with additional varieties to choose from. To end their experience on a sweet note, guests can choose from Pina Colada Eton Mess, Sticky Toffee Pudding and Pistachio Treacle Tarte, or opt for its delicious cheeseboard – the Great British Cheeses.
The Rib Room’s revamped offering places sustainable sourcing at the heart of its new menu, with homegrown ingredients used throughout its signature dishes. These include mushrooms from Oman, lettuce Lollo Biondi grown in local farms such as Emirates Bio Farm, sock eye salmon from Dubai based Fish Farm and local wasabi from Little Leaf farms.
Daniel Hillier, Executive Chef at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, says, “We look forward to welcoming guests back to our ever-popular venue – The Rib Room. We have invested significant time and drawn on the expertise of our dining teams to refresh the menu with dishes that showcase the finest cuts and spotlight delicious, locally sourced ingredients. By combining British classics with cutting edge preparation technique and presentation, we’re bringing to life this popular cuisine in a new and tempting way that we have no doubt will be popular among both our guests and visitors.”
Guests can tuck into The Rib Room’s sumptuous fare over dinner running from 6pm until 11pm, while the Bar & Lounge opens its doors from 5pm onwards.
