The Minister of Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda, Raquel Sánchez, will visit the United Arab Emirates on 9 and 10 September, on the occasion of the Dubai World Expo and the Global Mobility Call congress, according to her department.
On the first day, Raquel Sánchez will visit the Spanish pavilion of the Expo, where she will sign the book of honour, inaugurate the presentation of the congress and hold a lunch with different Spanish businessmen organised by the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce. He will also sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Dubai Police Services.
On Monday, the 10th, the minister will hold meetings with various members of the Abu Dhabi Government, such as the Director of Municipalities and Transport and the President of Etihad Rail. Among other issues, the new railway development plans will be discussed.
