The Emirates Green Building holds its annual conference

The Emirates Green Building Council is holding its eleventh edition of its annual conference next Wednesday at the Pullman Dubai Creek City Center Hotel under the theme “The Road to Climate Neutrality 2050: Mobility, Living and Sustainability.”
Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Honorary President of the Emirates Green Building Council and Executive Director of the Alliance for Global Sustainability, will open the conference with a keynote address, followed by a speech by Dr. Ali Al Jassim, President of the Emirates Green Building Council. Ibrahim Al Zoubi, Chief Sustainability Officer at Majid Al Futtaim Holding Company, will give a welcome speech to the participants, followed by a speech by Emmy Liehocksky, Acting Head of Environment and Sustainability at Abu Dhabi Ports Group, while a representative from the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment will highlight the role of built environments in achieving zero CO2 emissions. The Emirates Green Building Council will host a group of experts and stakeholders in the construction sector to dive into ways to achieve zero emissions in the green construction sector.
