Sunon Asogoli Power To Build 200MW Power Projects In Sierra Leone

News: Sunon Asogoli Power Ghana, owned by Shenzhen Energy Group Company and China African Development Fund, plans to build nearly 200MW of power projects at an estimated cost of USD700mn in Sierra Leone (Africa Inc). The plans include the construction of a 20Mwp-50MWp solar photovoltaic project in Freetown with completion expected within one year. The plans also include the construction of the 160MW Bengongor Hydro Power plant which is likely to be completed in four years. The Ministry of Energy of Sierra Leone and Sunon Asogoli have already signed a memorandum of understanding for the projects on March 29.
