PVH To Equip South Jeddah Noor Solar PV Project In Saudi Arabia

News: PV Hardware (PVH) has secured a contract to provide 387MWp of bifacial solar trackers for the under-construction South Jeddah Noor solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Saudi Arabia. The PV facility will feature the monoline 2V bifacial trackers. The 300MW solar project, located southeast of the city of Jedda, is expected to be operational in 2022. A consortium of Abu Dhabi Future Energy (Masdar), EDF Renewables and Nesma Company is implementing the project. Saudi Power Procurement will purchase electricity from the facility under a 25-year power-purchase agreement (Renewables Now).
