The son of Headwater is the only horse to firm since markets opened, shortening from $6.50 into $3.80.
Aquapishe, a $40,000 yearling purchase at the Adelaide Magic Millions sales, has not trialled officially but has jumped out well in preparation for his first start.
The two-year-old colt showed excellent early toe to lead in an 800m jumpout at Sandown on January 12 before dashing away to score by a big space.
Aquapishe will jump from barrier eight in the Powerflo Solutions Plate (1000m), with Zac Spain in the saddle.
Only two of the 12-horse field have faced the starter previously, with Godolphin filly Telluride – the $5.50 second-favourite – coming off a debut 2nd at Flemington.
