Bilateral trade and economic cooperation
Poland’s top diplomat noted “the fast growth of trade between our countries,” according to the Polish foreign ministry.
According to Rau, besides traditional trade, Poland seeks “to work with the UAE on energy, digital technology and environmental protection, as well as pursue investment in the Gulf state.”
He said that the UEA regarded Poland as one of its 10 key economic partners for the next 50 years.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al–Nahyan said that trade between the UAE and Poland, excluding oil, totaled USD 1.4 billion in 2021, a 10 percent rise on the previous year.
He added that new bilateral agreements had been struck “to expand economic cooperation and foster investment.”
