Kenya records 410 new coronavirus cases

Kenya’s Ministry of Health (MoH) on Friday announced that the country has registered 410 more positive coronavirus cases. This brings the total tally of the country’s cases to 105,467.

24 more patients have recovered, 11 from the Home Based Isolation and Care while 13 are from various health facilities. The total recoveries are now 86,521.

Unfortunately, six more patients succumbed to the disease bringing the total fatalities to 1,853.

The country has 17,093 active coronavirus cases.

This comes a day after the country’s presidency announced that Kenya’s first batch of COVID-19 vaccines will arrive in the first week of March, with healthcare workers, frontline workers and vulnerable population groups set to be given priority.
