Preeti Mahajan joins as Director of Human Resources – Operations and Shelly Boxall is returning as Multi-Property Director of Marriott Sales Office.
Preeti Mahajan brings over 12 years of Human Resource experience with numerous luxury hotel brands across India, Qatar and United Arab Emirates. Indian national, Preeti, joins the team from the Waldorf Astoria DIFC, where she was part of the successful pre-opening leadership team as the Assistant Director of Human Resources. She holds has Master Degree in Human Resources from the University of Pune in India and a Diploma in Labour Law and Labour Welfare. On her new appointment to the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai team, Preeti passionately shares that I strongly believe, as a Human Resource professional, it is my passion to create heartfelt connections with the associates and always deliver an anticipatory and genuine service to them so they in return will be motivated to take care of the guests in same way.. Preeti will be overseeing the Human Resources Operations for the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai.
Shelly Boxall re-joins the team at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, this time as Multi-Property Director of Marriott Sales Office for three properties including Al Maha, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort Spa and Le Meridien, Al Aqah Beach Resort in Fujairah. In her new role, Shelly will lead the operations of the Reactive Sales team who currently attend to over 60 requests daily for all three properties. British national, Shelly graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Hospitality Business Management with Conference Events from Sheffield Hallam University. She started her career in hospitality in 2007 and began her journey with Marriott in 2010 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London. Over the last 14 years, she has held multiple leadership roles across different operational and sales disciplines, which include Wedding and Special Occasions Sales Manager, Meeting Events Sales Manager, Assistant Director of Events Planning and Director of Event Management.
