Big increase in the number of tourists visiting Dubai. In four months, 51 lakh people visited Dubai. At the same time, the UAE topped the list of countries with the highest foreign investment in the Arab region.

The tourism and industrial sectors in the UAE have been booming since the Kovid challenges changed. In four months, 51 lakh people from India visited Dubai. This is a three-fold increase over the same period last year. The number of hotel occupants rose to 76 percent. By 2025, Dubai is expected to receive more than 2.5 million visitors a year. The new visas and the announcement of huge discounts on existing visas are expected to benefit the tourism sector. Meanwhile, foreign direct investment in the UAE increased by five per cent. According to the UN Conference on Trade and Development, the UAE is the 19th largest source of FDI in the world. The United States, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, Brazil, India, South Africa, Russia and Mexico had the highest FDI inflows last year. The UAE hopes to attract more foreign investment through new decisions, including a comprehensive economic partnership agreement with India.
