Emirates will host interviews for prospective cabin crew in Greater Manchester as the Dubai-based airline launches a global search for staff as the travel sector recovers after the coronavirus pandemic.

Manchester is among 30 cities worldwide to host interview days for the airline. Emirates resumed daily direct services to Dubai from Manchester Airport on Airbus A380 aircraft on 1st September 2021.

Candidates are invited to apply online now, with successful applicants being invited to a dedicated interview day taking place in Manchester on either Monday 23rd or Tuesday 24th May.

Abdulaziz Al Ali, Emirates Group’s Executive Vice President for Human Resources said:

“There’s no more exciting airline than Emirates for anyone interested in a flying career, and we’ve received tremendous interest since we began our recruitment drive for cabin crew in November.

“While parts of the application process are done online, we always make the effort to meet our candidates in person whenever we can, and that is why our Talent Acquisition team is doing a whirlwind 30-city tour over the next 6 weeks to assess prospective candidates.”

Emirates is among a number of aviation sector organisations undertaking a major recruitment drive as air passenger numbers continue to recover after the coronavirus pandemic grounded flights and restricted travel worldwide.

Manchester Airports Group is also recruiting for large numbers of workers on the ground at the Northern Hub. Along with a host of aviation service companies and airport-based hospitality brands, the group is hosting a jobs fair to showcase the hundreds of live roles currently on offer at Manchester Airport.
