The UAE News report: Consul General of Pakistan Ahmed Amjad Ali has launched a mobile application for ease of community services at the Consulate General of Pakistan, Dubai.
The mobile application provides access to all consular and welfare services ranging from attestation of documents, applications for visa, passport and ID card/ NICOP, information and facilitation about dead body transportation, FERC/OPF and legal advice.
“Ease of use has been the priority while designing the mobile application”, said Consul General Ahmed Amjad Ali. “Community can now take appointments for consular services via this application, check documents requirements and fees etc without physically visiting Consulate General of Pakistan. Applicants can also check the status of their documents through this application” he added.
Consul General said that a large number of Pakistani community resides in other Emirates. This facility will save their time and money and provide all services from the comfort of their homes.
Additional features of the mobile application include verification of UAE job letters and UAE visas for Pakistanis, information regarding land disputes in Pakistan, family matters and other Government organizations for Overseas Pakistanis in UAE.
The application is available online and can be downloaded from the website of the Consulate General of Pakistan, Dubai. –
