Celebrating 90-years in the world of hospitality, Cipriani is delighted to announce the highly anticipated opening of a brand-new concept, Cipriani Dolci, located at the gates of the Fashion Avenue at The Dubai Mall in April 2021. This will mark the brand’s third launch in the UAE, expanding from its Yas Island, Abu Dhabi and DIFC, Dubai locations.
Cipriani style to all guests. Since the Italian restaurant’s inception in 1931, when Giuseppe Cipriani founded the legendary Harry’s Bar in Venice Italy, four generations of Cipriani have grown a single restaurant into a world-renowned hospitality brand consistently recognized for its unique atmosphere, landmark venues, luxury in simplicity and authentic service all over the world.

A luxurious take on the Italian Pasticceria, Cipriani have designed the space to ensure that every little detail is taken into consideration to guarantee a comfortable experience, where every table is a great table and guests love coming back. Decorated in the iconic nautical colors, the maritime interior will feature a contemporary take on the signature aesthetic. A wonderful location for social gatherings, both for leisure and business, Cipriani Dolci will anchor itself as an eclectic meeting place where all guests are welcomed with a smile inside the world’s largest mall. Covering 1,100 square feet, the venue has a capacity of 115 guests.
Classics like, the Bellini & Carpaccio, invented by Giuseppe Cipriani in 1948 and 1950 respectively at Harry’s Bar in Venice, will be highlighted at Cipriani Dolci, where service will start daily at 9:00AM to The Dubai Mall’s closing hours. Diners will discover a menu featuring an array of Cipriani classics, including Baked Tagliolini, “Scampi alla Carlina” “Seppioline in Tecia”, Carpaccio and more. Signature Dolci classics will be available, from the decadent Torta Di Cioccolato, Vanilla Meringue Cake, Ice Cream freshly whipped to order, Lemon Tart, Tiramisu and more. A classic “vetrina” will display a beautiful assortment of tramezzini, focaccia, bomboloni, cannoli and other traditional Italian mono pastries. Breakfast at Cipriani Dolci will also be introduced offering a selection of eggs, crepes, and freshly baked goods paired with smoothies and juices.
In addition to the signature Italian dishes, the venue will also offer take-away services, gift baskets and will retail the full range of fine Cipriani food products including Cacao by Cipriani artisanal chocolate.
About Cipriani
On May 13 1931, Giuseppe Cipriani opened Harry’s Bar on the first floor of an abandoned rope warehouse off a dead end in Piazza San Marco, Venice. At 50 square meters, it appeared to be a typical “cozy” Venetian restaurant, but with the careful attention to detail and perfectly proportioned furniture, glasses and cutlery Harry’s Bar was anything but typical. Unchanged since 1931 and now a National Landmark, its famously relaxed atmosphere, great food and warm service have catered to a very eclectic clientele that has included through the years Hollywood legends, royalty, artists and people from all over the world. It has been constantly imitated but never reproduced.
In the 90 years since and with three generations of Cipriani family members leading the growth, Arrigo, Giuseppe and his sons Ignazio and Maggio, Cipriani has developed into an international hospitality brand, with restaurants, landmarked event spaces, luxury residential, hotels and private membership clubs around the world including Venice, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, Monte Carlo, Ibiza, Mexico City, Dubai, Riyadh, Las Vegas and the upcoming Punta del Este, Milan, Doha and Moscow.
