Bafana Bafana have suffered an injury blow on the even of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Morocco.

Hugo Broos’ side are due to take on their North Africa opponents at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat on Thursday, 9 June.

Kick-off is scheduled for 21:00 (SA time).

Bafana Bafana confirmed on their social media pages that Cape Town City FC defender Terrence Mashego has picked up a knee injury and will not be travelling to Morocco.

No replacement was named for Mashego, reducing the squad to 22 players.
