Abu Dhabi caps yearly tourism business license fee to boost growth


Representational Image The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has introduced a new tourism business licensing initiative to support and accelerate the growth of the emirate’s tourism industry. According to the statement, “Licensing fees for companies in the tourism business in Abu Dhabi will be capped at $272 (Dh1,000) per annum.” The department noted that the fee cap will help existing businesses and encourage new investors to launch operations in Abu Dhabi, boosting the emirate’s competitiveness as a premier destination for leisure, cultural, and Meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) tourism.
