Trade with the region
According to the Center’s data, a copy of which was obtained by Al-Ittihad, the United Arab Emirates accounted for 33.6 percent of the total volume of trade exchanges between the United States and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries during the first quarter of this year, estimated at 65 , 4 billion dirhams ($ 17.84 billion), it also accounted for about 38.3% of the region’s total imports to the United States and 24.4% of the region’s exports to America.

The volume of trade exchanges between the two countries during the month of February reached about 7 billion dirhams ($ 1.9 billion), compared to 7.3 billion dirhams ($ 1.98 billion) for the month of February 2021, while the volume of Trade exchange last January amounted to 7.24 billion dirhams ($ 1.97 billion) compared to about 6.45 billion dirhams ($ 1.75 billion) for the same month last year.

Export and re-export
