The number of winners in the 27th edition of the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence, organized by the Sharjah Education Council, reached 59 winners from government and private educational institutions.
The Sharjah Private Education Authority and the educational operations sector in the Emirates Education Foundation topped the winning categories, with citizens making up 49%, while non-citizens made up 51%. This year, the award allocated 3 winners for each school stage from the fourth to the twelfth grade.
Dr. Saeed Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Sharjah Education Council, stressed that the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence aims, through its mission, to deepen the concepts of excellence and creativity, implement quality programs, and appreciate the distinguished, encourage all individuals and educational institutions to develop their performance, and promote positive trends towards knowledge and scientific research.
He pointed out that the 27th edition of the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence has achieved a remarkable development, by introducing new categories, reviewing all categories and their main and sub-standards, and updating them based on changes in the educational field and the observations and development proposals received from the participants.
