The Sharjah Charity distributed sacrificial meat to about 136,000 in 38 countries, in coordination with the state’s embassies and the association’s offices and representatives in those countries, with a total of 6,800 sacrifices covered by the project for this year.
Muhammad Al Ali, Head of the Projects and Sponsorship Management Department, said: The sacrifice campaign outside the country included needy families, people with limited income, and orphans registered in the sponsorship lists. He explained that the campaign reflects the association’s keenness to implement a noble ritual aimed at deepening the principles of social solidarity, and consolidating the inclusiveness of charitable and humanitarian work among the various segments of society. He thanked the donors who took the initiative to make their donations on behalf of the association in distributing their sacrifice to those who deserve it. (wam)
