The Louvre Abu Dhabi will host a host of events over the coming weeks. On Tuesday, June 21, visitors are invited to participate for free in the celebration of International Yoga Day through the Body Tree app.
The museum, in collaboration with the Indian Embassy, ​​intends to attract visitors from all over the world to gather “under the museum’s dome” to celebrate synergy, peace and harmony. The Government of India hosts the International Yoga Guardian Ring program by broadcasting yoga sessions live from around the world on global television screens in conjunction with the movement of the sun in the sky. The UAE continues to cover the event from 7:30 – 8:30 in the morning.
The Children’s Museum will host a journey to find emotions through a free family yoga session in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi. Children ages 4-8 can explore the power of movement and learn about their emotions and how to deal with them through guided yoga and meditation sessions, interactive games and stretching exercises. The sessions are moderated by the studio “Body Tree”.
The Louvre Abu Dhabi organizes weekend trips with the family in an atmosphere of fun and creativity with activities inspired by the new exhibition “Paper Tales and its Secrets” on Saturday and Sunday 23 and 24 July. Experience works by Emirati artists and works of art from the museum’s permanent collections, and take part in activities designed to inspire everyone, on Saturday and Sunday 20 and 21 August from 11.30 to 17.30.
