Kuwait has invited bids for the construction of a new amusement city in its port town of Doha near the capital Kuwait City, a newspaper said on Sunday.

The Diwan Al-Emiri (Emir’s court) has issued bids for the building, operation, maintenance and investment of the 2.5-million-square-metre project, the Arabic language daily Al-Seyassah said, citing a Diwan statement.

It set Feb 27, 2020 as a deadline for bidding and asked interested contractors to examine the project site before bidding, the paper said.
