Former Ghana international, Laryea Kingston has insisted that he will accept the Black Stars coaching role and do the job with ease.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) are currently in search of a new trainer for the senior national team.
This emerges after Chris Hughton was shown the exit after the Black Stars’ horrible performance at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast.
A five-member committee has been formed to recommend a coach to the Executive Council of the Football Association.
Drawing from his coaching experience with the youth team of the Danish side, FC Nordsjaelland, and the Right to Dream Academy, Kingston affirmed his readiness to take on the Black Stars coaching role if offered the opportunity, citing his preparation for the challenge.
“Of course, I will accept and do it easy,” he said about his readiness for the biggest job of his coaching career,” the 43-year-old told Graphic Sports.
“I know the level at which I am now,” he added.
Laryea Kingston is the current Black Starlets assistant head coach.
