Dubai Restaurant Week is an annual celebration of gastronomic flavours and global cuisines waiting to be discovered. Running from 6 to 15 May, DRW is the ideal occasion for food fans to enjoy attractively-priced set meals at their favourite restaurants. This year’s edition features more than 40 of Dubai’s finest restaurants for your dining pleasure.

11 Woodfire

As its name suggests, 11 Woodfire pairs vibrant flavours with traditional wood-fire cooking techniques, resulting in a unique dining destination rooted in earthy soulfulness. Located in a charming villa on Jumeirah Beach Road, 11Woodfire offers a simple menu that celebrates the earth’s natural bounty and creates a sense of community, especially as this eatery’s core philosophy centres around a warming fire. Expect beef tartare, Atlantic sea bass and ‘Bone Marrow’ dark chocolate to feature across the lunch and dinner menus. AED 125 (two-course lunch) and AED 250 (three-course dinner).

For dessert, there’s a choice of vanilla-peanut millefeuille or jasmine tea creme brulée. By night, delve into a three-course experience starting with a selection of seven starters, including grilled umami chicken wings, panko sea bass or crispy spicy hijiki tuna roll. The main event is a choice of black cod miso, shrimps in hoba leaf, beef or chicken kushiyaki and kara-age style tofu. Finish with the indulgent matcha cheesecake, vanilla-peanut millefeuille or jasmine tea crème brulée. AED 125 (two-course lunch) and AED 250 (three-course dinner).

As part of Dubai Food Festival’s Dubai Restaurant Week, Hotel Cartagena offers a special three-course set menu featuring a starter, a main dish, and a dessert. Choose from Pan Latin staples such as fresh guacamole and chips, red snapper ceviche and mushroom truffle empanada to begin. The main course options include tender lamb chuleton (lamb short rib), aromatic arroz con vegetal (arborio rice with vegetables), and Jamaican jerk spatchcock chicken. To end the meal, you can delight in a choice between dulce-soaked tres leches topped with tropical fruit or the perfectly crisp churros with passion fruit curd and South American Guanaja chocolate. One of Dubai’s favourite Japanese restaurants offers a three-course lunch and dinner during Dubai Restaurant Week. For lunch, guests can enjoy popular ROKA Signatures such as iceberg salada no wafu (with caramelised onion dressing), gyuniku to goma no gyoza (beef, ginger and sesame dumplings), and a flavorful sea bream fillet (with ryotei miso and red onion). To finish, lunch-goers can end their meal with a dessert of their choosing. ROKA will also be serving a three-course dinner featuring tebasaki to yaki (with yuzu kosho honey), well-loved sweetcorn rubs (with binchotan butter, corn sobacha salt), and lamb cutlets (with Korean spices and sesame cucumber).
