Dubai: ‘Raj Sounds & Lights’ Tulu film world premiere receives great response – Daijiworld.com

Dubai, May 17: Released by Sandhya Creations, Rahul Amin’s directorial venture ‘Raj Sounds & Lights’ Tulu movie UAE premiere (6 shows in Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Sharjah) made a thunderous noise creating a historical event with audience reacting happily announcing that the movie was a total entertainment package full of emotion, comedy, suspense, family drama, a social message and beautiful foot taping music. Lead actor VJ Vinith became the talk of the town. The audience praised the director for presenting such a beautiful movie after a very long time. There was not a single minute of boredom and audience were blasting with laughter throughout on the continuous flow of punch-lines. Needless to say, all the stalwarts have given their best performances in this movie which is really appreciated.






























In Dubai’s Ibn Batuta Mall Nova Megaplex Cinema, Shodhan Prasad compered the show with the lighting of the auspicious lamp where Vasu Bhat Puthige chanted the prayers and lighted the lamp as a symbol of inauguration. Businessman-film producer Dr Frank Fernandes, businessman Sandeep Rai Nanje, UAE Brahmanara Samaja president Sudhakar Pejavar, Businessman-film producer Harish Sherigar, Businessman-film producer Harish Bangera, businessman James Mendosa, actor Deepak Paladka, actress Ranjitha Lewis and the young team of Raj Sounds & Lights comprising of Girish Narayan, Ashok Bailur, Deepak Kumar, Sharath Kumar, Prajwal Kottari, Akshay Garodi, Nithin Devadiga, Krishna Prasad, Amar Deep, Santhosh, Ratheesh, Sneha Suryanarayana, Swathi Sharath, Samantha Girish, Ranjini Krishna Prasad and Sahana Amar who also joined in lighting the lamp ceremony. The names of Rajesh Guthyadka of Landmark Group, Praveen Shetty of Fortune Group of Hotels, businessman-film producer Ronald Martis, Joseph Mathias of Merit Freight Systems who have contributed but could not attend the programme due to their other engagements were mentioned for their whole-hearted support. In Ibn Batuta Megaplex, two theaters were occupied with 588 people in full capacity.
At the entrance of the hall, Boondi Ladoo was distributed to all the audience which was sponsored by Venus/Hamba Restaurant owner Vasu Bhat.
All the guests were invited before the screen and honoured with flowers by the team. Shodhan Prasad welcomed the audience and with due respect, observed a minute-long prayer for the departed soul of the late President of UAE, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the eternal soul to rest in peace. He also mentioned that this prayer will also go to the very many departed souls of our own Tuluvas who left us for heavenly abode during the pandemic period. He also welcomed the new President of UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and praised his leadership.
The world premiere in 11 countries brought together more than 5,000 Tuluvas into the theater on the same day and Shodhan mentioned that out of that the maximum number of 1,300 Tuluvas are from UAE alone. He also mentioned the names of all businessmen friends of UAE who wholeheartedly supported in either buying tickets in bulk and or distributing tickets to large groups which helped in getting full house audience to the screens. He also praised the relentless and combined effort of the whole young team of Raj Sounds & Lights headed by associate producers Swastik Acharya and Thoufeeq Sheikh who in a short time could stretch out to all the Tuluvas of UAE and bring them into all the booked theaters in UAE. Girish Narayan soon took over and thanked Sandhya Creations and mentioned that the show was possible with the able overseas distribution guidance of Shodhan Prasad.
On behalf of all the guests, Dr Frank Fernandes and Harish Sherigar praised the team for their efforts in bringing such a movie to the Tuluvas of UAE. And with a big noise of cheering by the eagerly awaiting audience, the movie started spreading laughter and whistle blowing was witnessed throughout the show.
In Dubai Festival City Novo Cinemas there were 2 shows, one hosted by Billawas Family comprising of 122 audience in full capacity and another show hosted by Yakshagana Abhyasa Tharagathi Kendra Dubai along with Gammath Kalavider Dubai which had 99 audience in full capacity. Guests Satish Poojary, former president of Billawas Family, Dinesh Shetty Kottinja, patron of Yakshagana Abhyasa Thargathi, Bhavani Shanker Sharma, Santosh Poojary, Ravi Kotian, Prabhakar Poojary, Prem Kotian, Devdas, and associate producer Thoufeeq Sheikh along with his team Reema Thoufeeq, Rahul Udyavar and Shriya Shetty fully assisted the audience while Rajesh Kuthar and Deepak S P ably compered the inaugural event and later the reviews of the audience. Chocolates were sponsored and distributed by Prashanth Shetty of team for the whole audience.
In Sharjah Mega Mall Novo Cinema, full capacity of 171 assembled prior to the time schedule, eagerly waiting for the show to start. Nithyanand Beskoor who compered the inaugural, welcomed and invited guests Dinesh Devadiga president of KADAM, S Karkera, Santosh Shetty Polali of Family Confectionary, Mahesh Attavar, Navin Suvarna of Makhani Restaurant along with the able team members Yuvaraj Devadiga, Dhanush Devadiga and Rahul Udyavar who assisted the audience. Blue Water Company owner Ganesh Kotian sponsored and arranged drinking water for the whole audience.
In Novo Cinema, World Trade Centre, Abu Dhabi, with the full capacity of 321, the team led by Swastik Acharya, associate producer along with his team members Deepak Kunder, Prashanth Shetty, Clemente D’Souza, Roshan Shetty, Rajeshwari Shetty, Vaishnavi Vishwanath, Samrudh Shetty and Prashanth Hegde ably managed the show where guests businessman Sunder Shetty of Nihal/Tandoori Restaurant and Jayaram Rai Mithrampadi were honoured. Jayaram Rai sponsored and arranged drinking water for the whole audience.
At the end of the shows, all the audiences in all the theaters assembled outside and expressed their views which was captured in the videos and photographs. It was a festival like event in all the theaters as after the pandemic period Tuluvas could see each other and chat in one place.
On the whole, ‘Raj Sounds & Lights’ created a niche market across the world and paved a way for the Tulu film industry making huge noise of being one of the finest Tulu films ever made. This is the voice of international Tuluvas who always want Tulu to be promoted all over the world and made the dream come true of the producers of ‘Raj Sounds & Lights’ who wished to unite Tuluvas worldwide on the special day of the world premiere.
From the makers of Kannada Film ‘Ondu Motteya Kathye’, the directorial Tulu film of Rahul Amin ‘Raj Sounds & Lights’ is being presented by Vaibhav Flix in association with Mango Pickle Entertainment. This is being distributed overseas by Sandhya Creation Overseas Movies led by Shodhan Prasad.
The movie is produced by Anand N Kumpala and co-produced by B Ashok Kumar, Seetharam Shetty, Ajay Baliga, Suhan Prasad, Pawan Kumar, Nithin Raj Shetty and Arpith Adyar. Associate producers are Swastik Acharya, Sheikh Thoufeeq and Prashant Shetty and executive producer is Jithesh Kumar.
The story is penned by director Rahul Amin along with VJ Vineeth whose story as well as acting talent were appreciated by everyone who watched the movie.
Raj Sound & Lights has music by Srajan Kumar Tonse, edited by Plangle Studio, stunts by Chethan D’Souza and choreography by Naveen Shetty Aryans. DOP is Paddayi fame Prasad P and assisted by Jacob Johnson. The dialogues have been penned by ‘Girgit’ fame Prasanna Shetty Bailoor.
The main artistes are Vineeth Kumar (Hero), Yasha Shivakumar (Heroine), Arvinda Bolar, Karishma Amin, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Naveen D Padil, Prasanna Shetty Bailur, Sandeep Shetty Maanibettu, Roopa Varkady, Mervin Shirva, Namith Kulur, Ravi Ramjuja along with other noted actors.
Raj Sounds & Lights successfully had premiere shows in other parts of the world including Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Muscat, Bengaluru, Baroda, Pune etc. The movie was appreciated by all. The common review is that the movie is a complete package of entertainment which was not served since a long time to the craving audience.
After the world premiere shows, the movie will be released in other places on May 20.
