Cote d’Ivoire Take on Guinea-Bissau in Africa Cup of Nations Opener on Saturday

Yamoussoukro, January 12 (QNA) – Cote d’Ivoire will take on Guinea-Bissau on Saturday in the opening match of the 2023 African Cup of Nations, hosted by Cote d’Ivoire from January 13 to February 11.

The opening match of the tournament will take place at the 60,000-spectator Alassane Ouattara Stadium.

The Cote d’Ivoire national team, seeking its third African title, aims to secure a comfortable victory against Guinea-Bissau in the opening match to avoid any complicated scenarios in Group A, which also includes Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea. (QNA)
