Scholarship Benefits

The NEXTSHIP International Scholarship covers tuition, dormitory accommodation, and registration fees, and provides a monthly stipend of IDR 2,000,000.

Eligibility Requirements for NEXTSHIP International Scholarship 2024

Undergraduate Student Requirements: 

1. The maximum age to apply for the scholarship is 25 years old.
2. ⁠Hold a high school degree (please provide the scanned diploma and academic transcripts of your high school degree in English). Please be advised that a bachelor’s degree holder is not eligible to apply.
3. Have a TOEFL or IELTS (or other certified English Proficiency Test) score of 90 TOEFL IBT or 5.0 IELTS or equivalent (the certificate must be obtained within the last 2 Years). Applicants who come from English-speaking countries or graduated from a program/class conducted in English (stated in diploma/transcript) may attach an official letter from their previous home school as the replacement of the English proficiency test sheet.
4. ⁠Provide the recommendation letter to apply for a UNNES scholarship from the Indonesian Embassy or the Indonesian Consulate General in the applicant’s country
5. Attach a letter of recommendation for the UNNES Scholarship from the employer/direct supervisor (if the applicant works and the letter must be new)
6. ⁠Provide Academic Recommendation Letters from previous schools.
7. ⁠Provide the proof of citizenship by official passport which is still valid at least 1 year after July 2024. (A national ID card is not acceptable)
8. ⁠Complete the online application form

Postgraduate Student Requirement

1. The maximum age to apply for the scholarship is 40 years old, for master’s students, the candidate must not be more than 35 years old. 
2. Hold a master’s/bachelor’s degree (please provide the scanned diploma and academic transcripts of the master’s degree in English). Please be advised that a doctorate degree holder is not eligible to apply.
3. Provide a statement of purpose mentioning the purpose of studies, the origin of interests in studying in Indonesia and pursuing their chosen research topic, and their plans for the academic future.
4. Have a TOEFL or IELTS (or other certified English Proficiency Test) score of 90 TOEFL IBT or 5.0 IELTS or equivalent (the certificate must be obtained within the last 2 Years).
