Algerian-Qatari-German Hospital: The Project Has Entered Its Implementation Phase – The Maghreb Times !

The Algerian-Qatari-German hospital project has entered its implementation phase with the creation of the company owned 60% by the Qatari Elegancia Fund and 40% by the National Investment Fund (FNI).

In a press release, the FNI recalls that this project called: “Algerian Qatari Healthcare Services”, is the “fruit of cooperation between the Algerian State and the Emirate of Qatar.”

“The hospital, with a capacity of 300 beds, will be located in Sidi Abdellah (West of Algiers, editor’s note), it will respond to a significant demand for specialized care such as Cardiac diseases, Neurosurgery, Oncology”, recalls the same source.

In October 2023, an agreement was signed in Algiers, for the launch of construction work on the Algerian-Qatari-German hospital, which is scheduled to enter service in 2025.

The project for this hospital will be accompanied by a training institute for medical staff, which reflects the desire of both parties to strengthen and develop this sector for the benefit of Algeria.

This hospital, equipped with modern resources, includes 30 intensive care units, 15 operating theaters and 40 outpatient clinics, in addition to 20 areas dedicated to emergencies, bringing together high-level medical skills and cutting-edge technologies in diagnosis and treatment in only one place.

The project will also contribute to meeting a large number of medical needs, particularly in the field of specialized medical services such as complex heart diseases, liver surgery, neurosurgery and spinal deformities, as well as oncological surgery. and chemotherapy.
