Al-Musallam and Costa Rican Ambassador discuss participation in Sharjah Heritage activities

Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Musallam, president of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, recently received at the institute’s headquarters Francisco Chacón Hernandez, Costa Rica’s ambassador to the UAE. World Heritage Weeks Program, Sharjah International Narrator Forum and other activities emphasizing the strengthening and consolidation of cultural relations between Sharjah and the Republic of Costa Rica.
Dr. Al-Muslim said: “We were pleased to host the Ambassador of the Republic of Costa Rica, who was a guest at the Institute, where we discussed and discussed numerous proposals, ideas and projects, including Costa Rica’s desire to participate in some of the Institute’s activities, and we assured him of our approval and readiness for it, which is what makes us happy and happy as we want the whole world to gather under Sharjah’s sky through a package of programs, activities and events organized and implemented by the institute in in accordance with its agenda and strategy based on the directives and vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Councilor and ruler of Sharjah. “
He continued: “We toured with the ambassador in the department’s various departments and departments and briefed him on the department’s role, activity and efforts to protect the heritage, preserve it, pass it on to future generations and maintain it. The meeting included discussions on translating some of the department’s publications into the Costa Rican language, as well as examining how and the need to translate some Costa Rican books and publications into Arabic.
Francisco Chacon Hernandez said: “This visit came to the Sharjah Heritage Institute for further acquaintance, strengthening cultural and cultural heritage relations and to explore how, ways and mechanisms for our country’s participation in the institute’s activities, in particular Sharjah Heritage Days, World Heritage Weeks, and “Sharjah International Narrator Forum, where Sharjah holds a position. We are eager to be present in these activities through the Sharjah Heritage Institute.”
