The contingent also included team officials such as NFF Assistant Secretary General, Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme, Kit manager and assistant, Chidi and Mohammed Isa, as well as the team doctor.

All the players, except Samuel Chukwueze, who was permitted to play in AC Milan’s Coppa Italia game yesterday, were expected to arrive in the camp as scheduled.

The training is expected to be handled by Coach Jose Paseiro who has also arrived in Dubai with his backroom staff Tuesday.

Paseiro last week released a 25-man squad list to prosecute the game at the African showpiece where Nigeria is drawn in group A alongside host, Cote D’Ivoire, Equitorial Guinea and Guinea Bissau
