Nigeria’s Super Eagles have been drawn against the trio of Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau and Equatorial Guinea in Group A of the forthcoming 2023 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The draw was conducted on Thursday night, October 12,2023 in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire — where the competition will be held starting from January 13 to end on February 11, 2024.
Nigeria topped the qualifiers in its group with 15 points, netting in about 22 goals, comprising a 16-0 overall win against Sao Tome and Principe.
