A new educational facility has opened in Accra, enhancing opportunities for student development.
The Olympiad Educentre – Annex, launched on September 19, 2026, aims to provide comprehensive academic and extracurricular support. This extension of the Academic Talent Development Program (ATDP) offers diverse learning opportunities, including exam preparation and skills-building activities.
New Learning Opportunities at Olympiad Educentre
The Olympiad Educentre – Annex is designed to enhance academic preparation and talent development for students. It offers programs for IGCSE, A-Level, IB, OSSD, and AP courses, along with test preparation for PSAT/SAT, PTE/IELTS, GRE, and GMAT exams. Students can also participate in Olympiad training in Mathematics, Science, Technology, and Languages.
In addition to academic programs, the facility provides activities such as Technology exploration, Robotics and AI projects, and Creative Arts, including Dance and Music. Physical activities like Taekwondo and Board Games are also part of the offerings, promoting a well-rounded educational experience.
Celebrating Student Achievements
The soft opening of the Annex highlighted the accomplishments of students in various competitions. Notable achievements included medals from the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) and Kangaroo Maths. Akorsah from Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School was recognized for his role in winning the National Science & Maths Quiz, showcasing the impact of ATDP on student success.
Another inspiring story was shared by Hamdiyya, a former contestant who received the Most Promising Student Award for her STEM performance. Her journey illustrates how ATDP connects young talent with opportunities beyond academics, reinforcing the program’s mission to foster curiosity and commitment to learning.
